Go Girl!

How could I ever forget that girl? She would just carve her way into people's minds and never leave. She could never be defined. Her moods were totally unpredictable, but in a very nice way. One day she would be this cute adorable girl who didn't know anything, and the other day she was a smart, confident girl who was ready to take on the world. What made her so different from others, nobody knew. But the one thing they were sure of was the fact that they loved her, no matter what.
She would sometimes ask the silliest questions and make people laugh their hearts out. Once during a presentation on solar energy she asked something about the limitations of sunglasses. Upon realising that her question was totally irrelevant, she gave an innocent embarrassed look and remarked "Oops! I guess I didn't charge my solar cells today" At that moment, all the bored looks disappeared from people's faces and the Happy Environment was restored again. As big as her heart was, that small was her attention span. She couldn't understand what people were talking about if they spoke for more than 2 minutes. So, she had chalked out a strategy to overcome this limitation. As a part of this plan, she would link anything that people were speaking about to the topics that she liked the most so that she would not miss out on her concentration. For instance, if someone was talking about dogs, she would immediately picture Pluto in her head and would imagine Pluto representing the entire dog fraternity. But sometimes it would be difficult to do so. One day when her co-worker was speaking about time management, she started thinking of watches and then it went on to titan and fast track and suddenly she mumbled 'So what other colors does this watch come in?'
She was always the first one to volunteer for anything. One would always find her hands confidently raised when the question "So who wants to take up this responsibility?" was asked. During one meeting, the question asked was "So who wants to join the cricket team?" and her hand went up automatically as usual. Sadly it was supposed to be a Men's cricket team. Since her lead did not want to disappoint her, he gave her the responsibility to design the jerseys for the team and she accepted it graciously.
She couldn't get sleep if someone was angry with her or disappointed in her. She had this urge to keep everyone around her happy and even though she knew it was impossible, she never stopped trying. If someone was crying, she would draw a smiley on the tissue before handing it over to them. Of course the shape of the smiley would not be the same once it was used. Lol. She believed that alcohol was suicide and smoking was preparation for suicide. She was very very forgiving, kind, generous and so on and so on. She had endless great qualities.

If you're ever wondering who this girl is, then stop wondering and start thinking logically. This girl does not exist and will never exist. She's perfect which proves that she's not real. But haven't we all at one point of time or another wanted to be this girl? Haven't we wanted to be innocent and selfless? Haven't we wanted to be smart at the same time? It may be impossible to possess the above mentioned qualities but what's wrong with trying.
I know I could never be like her because the one time I try to get rid of one bad quality of mine, two bad qualities just come out of nowhere. It's really weird. Once I tried to help somebody and later realised that I was interfering in their lives rather than helping them out. So I gave it up. But something that gets me going is the hope that one day my good qualities may out number my bad ones. Please come soon sweet sweet day. :)  :)
